iha
A few of us have gathered to sing the songs of the 19th century poet-saint Shishunala Sharifa who lived in a little village called Shishunala near Hubballi, Karnataka. The songs are an invitation to play, reason, and imagine. We are travelling with the songs, meeting people, speaking and listening with them about the worlds we inhabit. These sharings (as we like to call them) are happening on streets, at shrines, in living rooms, on terraces, in studio spaces. You can visit www.theihablog.wordpress.com if you wish to know more and write in if you would like to host a sharing for your friends and family. iha means 'currently' or 'at the moment'.

Touch
A theatre-informed workshop that is gentle, non-intrusive, and meandering. The work is based on the premise that life brings pressures of many kinds. which often creates ruptures and fissures in our beings. This, leading to a sense of disconnect or a dismembering : body from mind, mind from spirit... To navigate and engage with this dismembering, we may need to 'remember' and recollect aspects of our self. Thus, exploring fresh pathways to re-form our individual narratives and personal wisdoms.
